This public community celebration honors Catherine Evans Whitener, Dalton’s hand-tufted bedspread history, and the many people who helped carry this story into a new generation.
Guests may meet Rachel, explore the history behind the book, view displays connected to Dalton’s textile story, purchase copies of TUFTED, and have books signed.

Net proceeds from the first printing of TUFTED support the Appalachian Historic Preservation Fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia.
